Mantras are words or sounds used to free the mind from thinking.
Mantra is a tool to achieve a meditative state, or silence.
The true power of a mantra cannot be truly understood until it is experienced.
The science of mantra is based on the knowledge that sound is a form of energy with a specific structure and effect. When repeated they promote harmony and attune us to a higher energy.
Japa means "to repeat' and is the practice of the repetition of a mantra to achieve the flow of the meditative mind. This can be done using mala beads to count the repetition or for a duration of time. We will practice 108 rounds of each mantra using mala beads.
*If you do not have a mala and would like to learn to use one, I am happy to send you one. Or you can simply follow along without a mala.
In this 3 week course I will introduce a new mantra each week that we will practice Japa Meditation on throughout the week.
Each mantra will invoke a specific energy and intention while drawing us into a meditative state.
The 1st session of each week will be recorded and sent to you to use if you need to miss any throughout the week.
